The DS-400xMDI is a matrix decoder board that can be used to decode
H.264 streams compressed by the DS-400x or DS-80xx products. It is the
perfect bridge between the digital and the analog system. The DS-400xMDI
can decode 4 channels QCIF, CIF, 2CIF, or 2 channels 4CIF, while output
to display 2 channels of 4CIF.
 | Each DS-400xMDI can realize 4 channels QCIF,CIF,2CIF or 3 channels DCIF, 2
channel 4CIF real time decoding. |
| Audio output: 2 channels, can choose any 2 of the
4 decoding channels. |
| Video output: 2 channels, each video output can
be divided into 16 windows. |
| Audio preview: each DS-400xMDI supports 1 channel
audio preview output. |
| Supports the mixed insertion of HI series
boards, HCI
series boards and MDI boards in one PC. |
| At present one PC can support
a maximum of 16 DS-4002MDI boards, that
becomes 64-channels decoding and 32-channels video
output. |
| Matrix control: all the HCI
boards and MDI boards in one PC, each encoding channel of HCI board
and each decoding channel of MDI board can display it’s video in
any window of any channel of any MDI board. |
| Each video output supports
picture-in-picture function, the position of each window can be
adjusted dynamically. |
DSP Research provides demo applications along with the SDK and source
code.
